Are you a city or country person?
Visiting any city is always exciting. I live just over an hour from both Manhattan and Hartford. But when I settle down at the end of the day, I want the peace that comes outside of the busy hubbub of an urban area.
Although I live in a Connecticut suburb right now, I’m not too far from some rural areas with farms and rolling hills. When we visit those, usually on winetasting or kayaking trips, I feel like it’s a place I’ve always belonged.
Yes, I’ve always dreamed of life on a farm. More than once, I’ve begged my husband for us to get some goats. I have visions of milking them, making soaps and cheese…to go along with the food from my garden each summer. Hubby dear says the goats aren’t happening…
