IT FEELS SO GOOD…
I can’t help but think of that Peaches and Herb song from the seventies when I write about my contemporary romance novella, Reunited. Originally written for an anthology called Love Notes, Reunited explores the second chance at love. The hero of the story, Brett, has carried a love letter he wrote to the heroine, Kathryn, in his wallet for the last twenty years. Read More

Halls with Stress Balls: How to Bring Inner
Peace and Joy to Your Holidays (& Giveaway!)
The following advice column is brought to you courtesy of Monica Jackson, the heroine in my debut romantic comedy, Under Her Spell.
When you punch out an innocent snowman on the way home from work, it’s time to get a grip, especially if you have a history of panic attacks. I suffered my first attack several months ago when Reed, a divorce lawyer, opened his practice next door to my new romantic event planning company, Enhance Your Romance. Reed eventually ended up being good for my stress and panic attacks. Then today, my soon-to-be divorced cousin and roomie Hope informed me that she’s spending Christmas on a two-week cruise. Who was going to play domestic elf--baking cookies, decorating, making Christmas dinner, etc.? Surprisingly, the holidays are a busier time for my company than Valentine’s Day. Everyone who has been naughty all year wants to play nice (or maybe a bit naughty) and romance their significant other. Unlike Hope, I don’t want to avoid the holidays. I love the holidays. So here are a few stress reducers I’ve come up with. Read More

Pumpkin Pie, Apple Crisp…and Hunky
Growing up in a small rural community, one of my greatest memories of fall were sales and bazaars that the various women’s groups held as fundraisers. Most times it would be at the community hall or at the church. There were always handicrafts, homemade gifts, and oh, the food. I remember my mom baking for the church bazaar and making bread, cakes, cookies, squares….we’re talking BOXES of baking. It was EPIC. Read More
It's great to be here talking about books! For those who don't know me, I've been writing for publication since about 2006, and I just celebrated my 25th book release. I write mainly mystery/romance, but I also have a reincarnation/time travel series, and a futuristic series. And I'm working on a mult-book futuristic series that I hope to release in 3 volumes, with 3 books per volume. Read More
an Action Adventure? Why Not!
I don’t write the traditional Romantic Suspense. My books are action adventure with romance tossed in to make it interesting. Think Romancing the Stone, Indiana Jones, or more recently Sherlock Holmes. There are bad people, good people, and different cultures mixed into a tale that is fast-paced, action-packed, and sizzles with romantic chemistry. Read More
Who Inspires You?
In today’s world there are many women that we could look up to and try to emulate. But I find that the women that most inspire me are women that I know personally. Their stories have a way of connecting to my life in ways that a stranger’s can not.
For instance, I look at my female relatives. All these women are part of my family. Each worked hard to make a difference in the lives of their children. Read More

I’m Meg Lacey, and I have a new series Million Dollar Men, with the first book, Million Dollar Mistake, coming October 23, 2012 from Samhain Publishing. I’m so excited to join the Samhain Family. I’ve previously written for Harlequin/Silhouette, and I also have a new paranormal romance release out, The Sparrow and The Hawk from Imajinn Books. Also, I’ve just signed a contract with Entangled Publishing. So I’m kind of busy. Not that being busy is anything new to any of us. Is it? I love being busy, because I just get in trouble when I’m bored. Read More
